What is faith? Hebrews 11:1
“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain
of what we do not see.”- (Faith in Jesus, God’s
Son, who shed His blood to cover our sin!)
What
is Grace – It is when God grants
us what we do not deserve!
Ephesians 2:8 “It is by grace you have been saved,
through faith – and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God.” (Sin
separates us from God, but He loves us so much that
He gave His only Son as the perfect sacrifice for our
sin.)
Who
is Jesus? Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah,
the only begotten Son of the living God!
John 14:6 “Jesus said, ‘I am the Way,
and the Truth, and the Life, no one can come
to the Father except through me.” (When
we reject Jesus, we are separated from God.)
ADMIT
that I am a sinner. “Romans 3:23 – All have
sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
(We are born in sin. Only through Jesus can we be forgiven.
He is the “Narrow Gate”, which leads to
life eternal.)
BELIEVE!
Acts 16:31 “Believe in the Lord Jesus
Christ, and you will be saved” (It
is a belief of the heart, the soul and the mind. It
brings forgiveness, and we become new in Christ).
John 3:16 “God loved the world so much, that He
gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in
Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Whosoever means every one! No one is left out
who has faith in God, and believes that Jesus is God’s
Son, and that He died for us, and rose again from the
dead on the third day, and sits at the right hand of
the Father, and intercedes (mediates) for us!
CONFESS!
We must have God’s forgiveness to have eternal
life. We must repent, and turn
away from sin! Luke 13:3 “But
unless you repent you will all perish”.
Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus
is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Would
