The Women's
Missionary Union had its beginning at First Baptist
when our Church was first organized. Women gathered in homes
or the church to discuss the Bible, pray and decide
on mission projects that needed to be done in the church
and community.
Today, the
WMU is active in many
ministries following the example of Jesus. Members of
the WMU are challenged to relate to God as Jesus did,
have compassion as Jesus did, and serve as Jesus did.
They are truly dedicated Christ Followers.
