MISSION UPDATE
The following items were taken to Horne Memorial on January 13, 2010 from the Household Closet to be taken to Haiti: 12 walkers, one box of medical supplies, six pair of crutches, seven bedside commodes, five canes, 10 sheets, six towels, 10 hand towels, 10 bath cloths, and three sleeping bags.

CLOTHES CLOSET NEEDS
Winter Clothes are needed for children (infants-high school) and men (all sizes in pants, shirts, sweaters, underwear and socks). Shoes in all sizes are needed for everyone. The Clothes Closet also needs Health Kits to hand out. With the economy like it is, more people are in need of our services. We cannot turn away a father or mother who has lost a job, a fire victim or anyone who is in need. We work with several agencies in the county to help provide clothes for all ages. Thanks for your continued help. Faye Hardee and Jo Ann Wiggs, Co-directors.

BIBLICAL RECORDER
For many years our church has furnished the Biblical Recorder to anyone in our congregation who would like to receive this publication. As many of you know, it is now available online. We are going to discontinue purchasing the Biblical Recorder UNLESS you would like to continue receiving it. Please contact the church office by or before February 22, 2010 and let us know you would like to continue receiving the Biblical Recorder.

CLOTHES CLOSET REPORT
In 2009, the volunteers in the Clothes Closet ministered to 1,300 people. With your help, we provided these people with21,905 pieces of clothing and shoes. In 2010, the Clothes Closet will celebrate it’s 20th Anniversary. The volunteers who work in the clothes closet are grateful for the generous donation of clothes and shoes you have given over the years. Not only do we need clothes, but we also need your help to continue this ministry for our county. The clothing Ministry is an excellent opportunity to minister to others who need help. Would Jesus have said no if He had been asked to help in the Clothes Closet? Think about it…one day out of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Faye Hardee and Jo Ann Wiggs, Co directors
