So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

MUSIC NOTES
Lent begins on February 25th. Lent is the season of preparation for Easter, a time of counting the cost of our salvation and thoughtfully repenting of our sins. At early worship, we will have a series of dramatic sketches entitled “Whose Cross Is It Anyway?” At the 10:55 service, readers will call us to worship with scripture and reflection on the season before they put out a candle on the Lenten wreath (a crown of thorns). Many members of the congregation will be invited to help with these Lenten observances. Our pastor’s preaching and the music will also be related to the theme of the season. A Holy Week service will be held Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
