So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

JOIN US AS REVIVAL BEGINS THIS SUNDAY

Bring your families and invite a friend as we begin this time of renewal and fellowship. We will enjoy services each evening at 7:00 p.m. and devotionals and a light lunch at 12:00 noon each day. Jack Causey will be ministering to us during our renewal services.

Jack became the Ministerial Resources Coordinator at CBFNC on June 1, 2007. His responsibilities include aiding churches searching for ministers; assisting ministers searching for ministry positions; guiding new seminary graduates with ministry placement; and supporting congregations through interim ministry. All of this is done through CBF’s Reference and Referral Ministry. Since retiring in 2000, Jack has served four different Baptist churches in North Carolina as Interim Pastor and will continue to serve part-time as Director of Services for Ministers as pastor/mentor for the Young Leaders' Program through the Center for Congregational Health.

Jack and his wife, Mary Lib, grew up in the same town in Mississippi and have been married since 1960. They have two adult children. Kim, their daughter, is married and lives with her husband and son in Charlotte. The Causey's son, Richey, lives in Greenville, SC, with his wife and two sons.

While Jack has enjoyed traveling in the past, particularly on mission trips, he now likes to spend time with his family which includes three young grandsons.

Services will be as follows:
Sunday March 2nd - Morning worship 8:45 a.m. and 10:55 a.m., evening service at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, March 3rd - Devotional luncheon at 12:00 noon, evening service at 7:00 p.m.

S.A.L.T.
Attention Men. Join us for Studying And Learning Together (SALT). We have begun studying the Book of Hebrews, and it is not too late to join us. “Why study Hebrews?” you may ask. "The author of the epistle is convinced that all that is necessary to restore life to a Christian life is to see Christ in all the dignity and beauty of his person and the importance of his work. Hebrews helps one to see just that. It blows a breath of life to each who reads it. One will feel better acquainted with Christ than ever before." This Bible study meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. Hope you will join us.

I’ve listed some of the things that we need to collect. We’ll take new or gently used. If you would like to make a donation and let us do the shopping we’ll be happy to.
