So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

IT’S TIME!!! Operation INASMUCH

This Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. we will meet in the Fellowship Hall for a light breakfast, devotional and time of fellowship.

If you have not signed up for a project, still come and you can get plugged in. Bring your flexibility and willingness to serve and God will do amazing things.

Some projects may begin at different times (for example- Baby Shower, Backyard Bible Club, etc.) Please contact the project coordinator if you have specific questions about when to meet. Otherwise, see you at 8:00 a.m.

Come be a part of making a difference in Christ’s name in our community. God wants you to be involved in His work.

PRAYER CORNER
FOR OPERATION INASMUCH
This Saturday, April 19th, teams from First Baptist Church will be going throughout the community to spread God’s love and to fulfill God’s command to share the Gospel. Let’s continue to entrust this project to God in prayer and look to Him for guidance, provisions, and empowerment (from Bill Downs’ Invitation to Prayer for OIAM).

• Pray for God’s strength. (Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 41:10)
• Pray for sensitive hearts for those serving(Colossians 4:4-6)
• Pray that God will open our eyes to see those in need (Acts 8:26-36)
• Pray that God will help us to willingly, boldly and clearly share the message of Jesus (Acts 4:29-31)
• Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit in all situations (John 14:26; Acts 1:8)
• Pray for wisdom and courage to effectively reach our community (James 1:5; Romans 11:33)
• Pray that we will show our love for God as we serve in this ministry (Matthew 22:37-39)
• Pray that those who can’t physically serve, unite with us in prayer (Ephesians 6:18)
• Pray for God to work in our hearts to achieve His purpose in this event. (Acts 13:1-2)
• Pray that God will go ahead of us to prepare the hearts of those we will contact (Col. 4:2-3)
• Pray that God will receive all the glory for the successes of the day (Isaiah 48:11)

“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’” Matthews 25:40
