NEEDED RELAY FOR LIFE CAR WASH
Your help is needed at the Relay for Life Car
Wash on May 15, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at
Evans Tire. All of us know someone who has had
cancer, is fighting cancer or has lost the battle
to cancer and this is YOUR was to help fight this

NEEDED
I want to do a bulletin board in recognition of
Relay For Life and I need your help. If anyone
in your family, our church family, has been diagnosed
with cancer, I would love to have a picture for
our bulletin board. This can be if they are fighting
now, have been lost to cancer, or have won the
race. I need the picture by May 1. Please leave

The Survivor Banquest for Relay for Life will
be held on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m at JCC.

to be a part of such a loving and caring church.
Thank you for your prayers, love and support during
Wallace’s sickness (for 2-1/2 years) and
recent passing. We are truly blessed. Jan, Elizabeth
and Wallace Ashley.
CONGRATULATIONS
Girl Scout Troop 1606 has earned their Silver
Award. They are Morgan Gatlin, Chloe Ivey, Lindsey
Smith, Madeline Lassiter, Allison Britt and Brianna
Williams. These girls baked and wrapped 150 individual
desserts for the Soup Kitchen every week for the
entire 2009-2010 school year. In all, they baked
over 5,700 individual desserts total. Great job
girls. What a great way to serve your community.
