PICTURES NEEDED
I want to do a bulletin board in recognition of Relay For Life and I need your help. If anyone in your family, our church family, has been diagnosed with cancer, I would love to have a picture for our bulletin board. This can be if they are fighting now, have been lost to cancer, or have won the race. I need the picture by May 1. Please leave your picture in the church office or get to me, Carolyn Jones. CONGRATULATIONS
Girl Scout Troop 1606 has earned their Silver Award. They are Morgan Gatlin, Chloe Ivey, Lindsey Smith, Madeline Lassiter, Allison Britt and Brianna Williams. These girls baked and wrapped 150 individual desserts for the Soup Kitchen every week for the entire 2009-2010 school year. In all, they baked over 5,700 individual desserts total. Great job girls. What a great way to serve your community.
