CHILDREN’S SAFETY COMMITTEE (CSC) UPDATE
Your CSC met this past Sunday to continue their work. The group discussed several different topics. The dialogue ranged from the process for screening volunteers to hygiene procedures in pre-school rooms to the administrative support necessary for the implementation of our church’s policy once it has been approved. After the large group discussion had concluded the team divided into their assigned subcommittees to spend the remainder of our time on specific aspects of our charge. We continue to remain committed to our purpose “to establish and recommend policies for the safety of our preschool, children, youth and their volunteers involved in these ministries of First Baptist Church Smithfield.” If you have any questions or comments please contact Michelle Ball, Brad Felts or Bryan Harris.

MAKING CHANGES
Do you have an idea for the church? Maybe an addition somewhere in the building or on the grounds, would like to paint a room, etc.? Whatever your thought may be, please consult the Building and Grounds Committee before proceeding.
