So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

The prayers, visits, telephone calls, cards and delicious meals have been so appreciated. My recovery is progressing well and hopefully I will be able to begin physical therapy in approximately 2 – 3 weeks. Once again, thank you for your continued support. A loving church family is such a blessing! Love Jean H. High and family.

Can you commit to a year of investing in the lives of others?
HERE ARE SOME OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Wednesday nights this FALL: (Discipleship Training)
• 2 Year olds - 2 people needed
• Kindergarten - 1 person needed

Wednesday nights next SPRING: (Mission Friends, RA’s)
• Kindergarten - 2 people needed
• R.A.'s for boys in Grades 4 - 6 : 2 people needed

Sunday nights ( Sept - April)
• Bible Buddies (Grades 2-3) - 2 people needed
(an excellent way to learn the books of the Bible as you help children learn them)

We don't know where your passion/giftedness/calling is......but YOU do.....If you have felt God nudging you to do SOMETHING, maybe one of the opportunities above would suit you.....and maybe you can claim at least one of these Bible verses:

"You have been Christians a long time now, and you ought to be teaching others....." Hebrews 5:12a

"Much is required from those to whom much is given, for their responsibility is greater." Luke 12:48b

"I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength." Phillipians 4:13

(And if because of age or affliction you are unable to serve, PLEASE PRAY that willing workers will answer this call to serve!)

Contact Bryan Harris (934-9771) or any member of the Nominating Committee to let them know of your willingness to invest yourself in any of these ministries. Thank you!
