So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

These classes will help our First Graders to find ways to worship God, learn about baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and give them some helpful tools they can use as they join us in worship. Children will go back to their Sunday School classroom after the Children’s Sermon and stay there until you pick them up after worship. Look for more information in the mail.

CAN YOU HELP
My name is Alison McMillen. I’m a rising sophomore at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School and working on my Girl Scout Gold Award. My desire is to inspire underprivileged children here in Johnston County to play soccer. Many of these children do not participate in organized soccer teams often because they do not have the proper equipment i.e. cleats, shin guards, etc. and/or do not have the basic skills and knowledge of the game. I am collecting new or gently used soccer equipment from area churches, organizations and club soccer teams. These items will be distributed during clinics through the Smithfield Housing Authority prior to the Smithfield Parks & Recreation Fall Soccer season. I would deeply appreciate your help on this project. I will have a box located in the church office for soccer equipment collections through the end of August. Thank you in advance for your generosity in regards to this project.

ATTENTION SENIOR ADULTS
The Fall Senior Adult Rally will be held at Princeton Baptist Church on Thursday, September 13th. If you would like to go, we will meet in the church parking lot at 9:15 a.m. to go as a group to this event. Don’t forget to bring a covered dish to share at lunch.
