church office as soon as possible. If you have
not participated in past years and would like

HISTORY
TIDBIT
The only items to survive the spectacular fire
of 1942 were a few pews, the bell from the tower,
and the cornerstone. The bell is now housed in
a cote by the front entrance of the church. The
cornerstone is in the south wall of the vestibule
of Ryberg Hall. The church and contents were valued
at $40,000, but the insurance coverage was only
$10,500.
DISHES,
DISHES, DISHES
If you have bought a dish to the church for a
funeral or other function, please pick up your
dish in the kitchen.
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
Grab your family and let’s go see “Evan
Almighty” on Thursday, September 20. We
will see you at the Howell Theatre for the 7:00
p.m. showing and walk back to the church for refreshments
and “talk back” time afterwards. Hope
to see you there.
