THANK YOU
On behalf of the Swertfeger family, I would like
to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers
during and after Bailey’s surgery. You have
truly lifted our spirits during this difficult
time. Bailey and I have missed being in church,
but I was fortunate to make it recently to one
Sunday. Lee spoke about being beautiful on the
inside as well as on the outside . As I listened
to him speak, I immediately looked around and
thought to myself, this is the must beautiful
congregation both inside and out. I thank God
for each of you. God bless you, Ann Swertfeger
SYMPATHY
We express our Christian sympathy to Vic Ogburn

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL WORKSHOP
BUSY! BUSY! NO TIME! That’s how it feels,
doesn’t it? Actually, we all have the same
amount of time and must use it as we see fit.
Make sure one thing you include in your plans
is the Spiritual Renewal Workshop to be held at
First Baptist on November 6 & 7. Take time
to make your relationship with God even better.
We will learn more about the love of God and how
we can learn to love more and worry less. This
will surely be a special time to focus on what
is likely the most important thing that Jesus
ever had to say. We can all grow and mature in
his teaching. Food, Fellowship, and a great feeling
of renewal for a $15 fee per person including
dinner on Friday, Continental Breakfast and Lunch
on Saturday, workshop materials, and tuition.
Make plans now to attend. You’ll be glad
if you do. We’ll end by 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Call the church office and register today. Make
reservations early. We want to be able to arrange
small group participation for you.
