FBC Youth will meet Sunday, October 11, 2009 for
Snack Supper followed by Bible Study. Wallace
Spragins, Bryan Council, Ben Daughtry, Addison
& Molly Grantham, Gabi, Jo Jo, Keni, Kipp,
Tasha & Victor Harrison, Aaron Hill and Bennett
Johnson are responsible for snack supper.

OPENINGS
There are many opportunities to participate in
the music ministries of FBC! Did you know that
we have openings for more people to participate?
If you enjoy music, we would love to see you in
one of the following ensembles:
• Sanctuary Choir (Wednesdays at 7:30 pm)
• Youth Choir (Sundays at 5:15 pm)
• Handbells (Thursdays at 7:00 pm, men and
women)
• S.O.S. (Wednesdays at 6:30 pm)

JOIN US AT THE SEVENTH ANNUAL BECKY KNOTT MEMORIAL
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Seventh Annual Becky Knott Memorial Golf Tournament
is fast approaching. This year it will be held
Friday, October 30th with tee off at 12:00 noon.
Many individuals and businesses have sponsored
this event each year and we appreciate their support.
If you have been a sponsor in the past and plan
to sponsor again this year, please contact the
church office as soon as possible. If you have
not participated in past years and would like
to support our youth through this event, please
come by the church office and pick up a brochure.
Also, please feel free to pass this information
along to friends or other businesses. ALSO, we
will enjoy a pig pickin’ at the conclusion
of the tournament, approximately 4:00 p.m. Everyone
is invited to attend. The cost is a donation to
the Youth Mission Trip. Please come out and join
us.
CHURCH
WIDE TRUNK OR TREAT!
No matter your age make plans to have a blast
at our FBC Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 25
from 4:30 – 6:00ish. We are challenging
each adult Sunday School Class to have at least
5 vehicles participate. It will be in the parking
lot across from Cecil’s Service Center.
Vehicle decorating will take place from 3:30 until
4:30. Call the church if you have questions. Please
sign up on the Sunday School clipboards.
HIGH ATTENDANCE FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL WILL BE NOVEMBER

High Attendance Sunday is not about numbers; it’s
about Connecting with others and Building relationships
for Spiritual Growth potential. But we do want
to see how many people we can get involved in
that process. Please be in prayer and discussion
for how your class can reconnect with members
not joining in as well as invite guests to come
and be on journey with us. If you have any questions
or would like some ideas please feel free to contact

OPPORTUNITY
FOR SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
How do you experience God’s Love? How do
you know that God loves you? Plan to attend the
Spiritual Renewal Retreat at First Baptist on
November 6&7 to explore the Greatest Love.
There will be large group presentations including
scripture and worship and there will be small
group workshop sessions to get you involved. Call
the church office at 934-9771 to make a reservation
today. We’ve begun organizing the workshops
already. Let us know so we can get you in the
appropriate one. Expect to be blessed and to grow

Pine Cone Christmas Trees.

Audition Prep Clinic for middle school band students
