So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him

HIGH ATTENDANCE FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL IS NOVEMBER 4, 2007
Sunday School class member, please take time to discuss and reflect upon the following

1. We need a realistic goal formed out of intentionality and genuine consideration.
If we cannot commit to our own class why should anyone else?
2. Who can we invite to journey with us? Who does God have a word for?
3. How can we connect with them?
What resources do we have: email, letters, cards, phone calls, direct conversation?
4. How can we make visitors feel welcome?
a. How do we arrange our room?
b. Will we commit to learning names?
c. What should the lesson be and how should it be planned?
5. How can we reconnect with classmates who haven’t attended in some time?
a. Are there pride/humility issues present?
b. Has there been significant life change since they last attended? (death, job change or loss, physical/mental/emotional health, etc.)

REMEMBER: High Attendance Sunday is not about numbers, it is about People and Building Relationships. Please be in prayer and discussion around reaching out to new faces and old friends. If you have any questions or would like some ideas, please feel free to contact Dan Evans or myself. Your class goal should be submitted to the Sunday School office by October 28.

Peace and Prayers.
Bryan Harris

THANK YOU
I am amazed how God used my Girl Scout project to glorify His name. I received the following items: 20 soccer balls, 11 pairs of shorts, 25 shirts, 30 pairs of shin guards, 28 pairs of soccer cleats, 4 goalie shirts, goalie gloves and 16 pairs of soccer socks. Thank you so much for your donations. Many of the members from this church participated in the Soccer Day on August 25th, playing in very hot conditions. Your generous support has allowed children in our community to play soccer. Thanks again! Alison McMillen

Dear Church Family, I would like to thank you for the food, cards and prayers during my recent surgery. Please remember me in prayer as I continue to heal. Thank you again. Martha T. Pope
