Divorce Care (13 Weeks)

2009 FBC Smithfield All Youth Mission Trip, Brunswick, GA - July 19-25, 2009 - The 2009 Mission Trip to Brunswick, GA is special, because it will be an exclusive Mission Trip for the Youth of FBC. Everything from the meals to supervision of the home construction will be put in place by FBC Smithfield members. A fun experience will be our gathering times at night, which will include worship and fun group activities, like games and talent shows. This Mission Trip is available to all youth (7th –College). The cost for this trip is $100 per person. Below are the expectations for all participants who wish to join the FBC Youth mission trip for the summer of 2009:
Needed: 15 HOURS OF COMMUNITY MISSIONS, FUNDRAISER PARTICIAPTION (Parents and Youth), PRE-PROJECT STUDY (a 6 week study starting Feb. 20) PAYMENT - Cost $100 – $50 due in NOW and balance due April 26.

SUPER BOWL GATHERING - SUNDAY, FEB. 1 6 p.m. until Half Time. Look for location next week

ATTENTION MEN
Men from the Young Adult Sunday school classes are invited to a Bible study on Tuesday nights at 7:00 in the youth room. Join us as we work our way through the Bible, strengthening the bonds we share with the Lord and with each other. The study is relaxed in nature and usually ends around 8:15. SUMMER COLLEGE STUDENT MINISTRY INTERN
First Baptist Church is accepting resumes for a Summer Ministry Intern who will work with the Youth ministry and some of the children’s summer programming. Applicants must have completed their second year of college, have a sense of calling toward full time Christian Ministry, and be an active participant in at least one Christian organization at college. KENLY DISASTER RELIEF OPPORTUNITY
The Johnston Baptist Association has committed to oversee four home projects over the next several months to serve those impacted by tornadoes in November. Our church’s first scheduled work day is THIS Saturday, January 17th. We will be working INSIDE on a house on Scott Road. We will leave the church at 7:00 a.m. If you would like to participate on our workdays or at other times, contact Joyce Wright (934.3547.)
