at Ridgecrest September 29-30.There will be great motivational
speakers, workshops,wonderful music and Disaster Relief

For September 15 – 17 to go
to Camp Oak Hill. The theme this year is “Hey God!”
On this weekend retreat we will enjoy Bible study, camp
activities, worship, fun and fellowship. The cost is
$80.00. You may pick up your registration form in the
church office. Registration, 2006 permission forms and
monies are due by Sunday, August 20th.
Camp Crescendo (Children’s
Choir Camp) is August 7-11 for children who
have completed grades K – 6. The theme this
year is “Creation Sensation. Registration forms
have been mailed. They are also available in the
church office. Deadline to register has

Relief Trip leaving on October 28th. If you would like
to devote a week to helping others please contact the

our prayer chain list. If you would like to participate

The Household Closet is BARE!
We need all items: sheets, dishes, flatware, pots and
pans, bath and kitchen towels, blankets…….any
household items in good repair will be appreciated.
You may drop off you items in the area beside and in
front of the elevator. Please label them for the

The Blood Mobile will be here at
FBC in Ryberg Hall on Tuesday, August 1 from 1:30 –
6:00 p.m. If you are interested in giving blood
please call 934-8481 for more information.
The Adult Assistance Support Group
will meet this Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in
the Fellowship Hall. Also, a copy of the CD “Accepting
the Challenge, Providing the Best Care for People with
Dementia” is available if you would like to listen
to it. Call Blenda Braswell to check it out.
The family of Joe Batten would like
to thank those who sent cards to Joe during his long
sickness. A special thanks goes to the “angels” who
fixed lunch before his funeral. The Joe Batten Family
Faye and Bill Downs will be attending the Happiness
Retreat July 28 – August 6. They will lead Bible study
to care givers of those with special needs. Please be
in prayer for Bill and Faye as they embark on this special
journey.

will be held at Trinity Baptist Church at 4815 Six Forks
Road in Raleigh on August 19 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:45
