To have a valid Youth Permission Form on file with the church, you must have completed the following:
- Fully Completed Form
- Original Notary Seal
- Copy of Insurance Card (front & back). You may copy insurance information on the back of the Youth Permission Form, or you may make a copy on a separate sheet of paper.
Dates & Information
Fri (10/5) 5th Quarter- Games & Food in the Ministry Center Gym/Cafeteria starting @ 10p.
Youth- please invite your friends and be ready to welcome those who may be new to our group & facilities.
Sun (10/21) FBC Smithfield Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat. 4-6 p in Ministry Center. Youth &
Families encouraged to participate/volunteer. IMPORTANT: This will take the place of our Sunday Evening Youth Meeting. I’m asking for significant Youth & Family support for this church wide outreach. Please look for ways to sign up and help out!
Wed (10/24) Youth & Parents are invited to attend as Julie Hopkins (South Smithfield Elementary Counselor) will share about challenges children/families have to confront in our community, so we may consider how to respond. Youth Room, 6:30-7:30p.
Sun (10/28) Youth Fundraiser Luncheon following Handbells 50th Anniversary Celebration. Michelle Ball coordinating. We must have additional adult helpers. All youth are expected to help on the 28th. Please contact Bryan Harris or Michelle Ball
Sat (11/10) Community Outreach Opportunity (Hurricane Florence Relief) Youth and Parents
to help in storm impacted areas. More information to come as needs and partnerships are identified. Be on the lookout for additional dates that work with your schedule. Remember; FBC Youth & Families- We Help.
Sun (11/18) Family Feud & Pot Luck Supper. A variation of the TV game show that will involve our Youth & Parents. 6-8p in Ministry Center Gym/Cafeteria.
Wed (11/21) Thanksgiving Service in Sanctuary @ 7:30p.
Sat (12/15) Youth Progressive Supper & Outreach. Youth will enjoy a three course meal at
different locations. We will also visit and share Christmas carols with assisted living residents/homebound seniors in our community. Time and destinations to be determined.
Meeting Times (Typical)
Sunday Mornings @ 9:45a in the Youth Room (Ministry Center, 125 S. Fourth St.)
Middle School & High School meet together, then split into Middle School (6th – 8th grade) and High School (9th – 12th) for Bible Study. Some sessions we do stay together as one group.
Sunday Nights @ 6p in the Gym/Cafeteria (Ministry Center, 125 S. Fourth St. Use 5th Street entrance.)
We vary with our groupings for Bible study on Sunday evenings.
Wednesday Nights @ 6:30p in the Youth Room (Ministry Center, 125 S. Fourth St.)
We meet together as one group.
