FBC FAMILY: Virus Update
The latest word on the restrictions placed on public gatherings by Governor Cooper would indicate that worship services and activities at First Baptist will not resume before May 15th. We are assessing the situation on a daily basis and considering how we might best serve you during this time. Updates will continue to be posted on the church website fbcsmithfield.org as well as on the Prayer Chain and newsletter.
We encourage you to stay connected by reaching out to Sunday School members, choir members, college students, youth, children, our senior adults and homebound. Phone a friend, email, post a picture on Facebook or send a text to a fellow church member. Reach out to your neighbors. Use sidewalk chalk messages to encourage others. Spread God’s love as you go through the drive-thru windows at the bank or restaurants. Share with us on Facebook the many creative ways that your family is shining the light of God’s love in our community!!
The Lord Bless You and Keep You,
